children and elders do not see the same thing :-)

What an elder sees sitting down, a child cannot see even if he climbs an iroko tree. But the child who climbs an iroko tree will see other things an elder cannot see while sitting down.

Fingers and bite

"Don't bite the fingers (or hands) that feed you," we often hear. Hmmm how about if these fingers keeps sticking itself into your throat? Or worse, do not want you to ever learn to feed yourself? Is it okay to take a bite then so you can learn to feed yourself? :( #justsaying

“We so often hear that a beggar has no choice/Beggars are not choosers. But I learned that a beggar actually does have a choice, he/she can CHOOSE not to beg!”

Half a loaf is okay and so is owning a Bakery

"For better is half a loaf than no bread." But don't settle for half a loaf (which is better than none) when you can have a Bakery-- and feed more people. #Unconventional Approach :)

It is okay to be a big fish and a small fish

"It is okay to be a big fish in a small river, we are told. But the problem is, we forget that it is also okay to swim out to the ocean and learn the tricks of bigger waves. Learn how to swim in clean clear river. Don't just stop at the small river. Bottom line, it is also okay to be a small fish in a big river, if it is not drowning you." :D #unconventionalApproach.
